Default LS6 w/243's 10.5:1 comp...what cc head for turbo?

Like it says I have a 2002 LS6 motor, with the 243's it is around 10.5:1.
My question is, if I were to get a new set of AFR heads, what cc combustion chamber should i get to bring the comp down to about 9:1 so I can turbo it and stay with pump gas? Thanks

Have you thought about OEM 317 casting heads?

Yeah I here people use them on 5.3L turbo applications, do you know what size combustion chamber they have, or what comp ratio it would bring me down to? Thanks

Ok so I did some searching and got an answer of 72CC for the 317's. Does this sound right? My motor is 10.65:1 with 65CC 243's, so with 317's it would be somewhere around 9.65 right? I've got the build sheet for my motor infront of me and I have a question about my cam and rockers....
The cam is a comp 54-418-11
Lift: .534''/.537''
Duration @ .050'': 224°/228°
RPM Range: 2000-6800
112 LSA
My rockers are slp 1.85 ratio, which brings the lift to .582 intake and .586 exhaust. would this setup be ok for boost or should I get another cam with stock ratio rockers? Thanks!

It's always best to have a cam spec'd for your specific combo and goals. That being said, it doesn't look bad to me. So it's worth a shot to try in my opinion.

Well my goal is to max out the tranny that i have. It is a tko600 so im going for around 600tq. The motor dyno'd 500hp and 465tq with a dual plane and holley hp 750. So i have some tq to make up and I hear that people have pushed the tko600 to upwards of 900hp. My engine builder said 10lbs of boost would net somewhere around 50% more power so I guess i will start a little lower and see what kind of numbers it makes. I have diamond forged pistons and eagle forged rods with arp bolts so I know it will handle the boost. I also have a fast 92mm intake and will go back to fuel injection when I turbo. Ive been looking at other set up's on here and it seems like a T76 will get me where I want to be. I have been looking for a set of nice 317 heads but am not coming up with much. Ive got a nice set of 243's with under 7K miles on them so if anyone wants to trade... Lemme know!

If you have E85 available I would leave the compression alone and run it.

unfortunately I have not seen any E85 up here yet. Alaska is behind the curve on just about everything. What is it about E85 that lets you run higher comp with boost?

Edit: I did a google search on E85 and found out a lot of cool info. I literally only knew that it was made from corn and gasoline, but I was very surprised to find out the octane rating is around 105. **** now if we could get some up here i would be able to keep the heads I have.
