Default Help me pick some rods and pistons for my turbo setup

My motor is going to be getting a rebuild after a mystery failure and I figure with the turbo going on now would be a good time to do a little upgrading on the bottom end. But honestly, the sizes of everything has me completely confused. This is going to be a stock cube rebuild, just bringing the block into the machine shop for redecking, mild honing, cleaning, and the bare amount of machine work necessary. I've been looking through about every website on the planet that sells rod and pistons for these motors and I think I have an idea of what I want and wanted to check with you guys to make sure all of the sizes are correct.

The connecting rods will be 6.125" Scat I-beams with ARP 7/16" cap screw bolts. $284 for rods with ARP bolts? Sign me up.

The pistons I've been a little more back and forth on. My first choice is Mahle -9cc dished pistons. 3.908" bore 3.622" stroke
These come with the wrist pins and piston rings, so for the $665 they seem to be a good deal.
I think the -9cc dish should be just fine for my level of boost. -16cc almost seems a little extreme for the level of boost I'm planning on running.

BUT OF COURSE, I was on fleabay the other day and noticed these

http://cgi.ebay.com/NEW-LUNATI-CHEVY...#ht_559wt_1137

Lunatis for $350? But these are for 4.125" bore and are a -17cc dish. Will these work in my stock cube motor? Seems like the bore isn't for a 346/347.

I was just hoping someone could look at the measurements of the rods and pistons and let me know if I need to order something else based on the matchup or if I'm good to go. Thanks guys!

Stick to a 3.905 piston incase you have another rebuild to do. Look at Wiseco pistons also. Don't cheap out while you are doing this build. These parts are the corner stone of your build and are not easily changed after installed.

4.125 bore would require a 4.00 bore to start with. you only have a 3.898

Wiseco pistons K444X3903 and K1 h beams would get the nod from me. Or a set of Callies Compstar rods...Both are great affordable rods with ARP 2000 bolts. LMK if you would like pricing.

Don't get the mahle pistons, you can get Diamonds for that price. Send an email to seth@hinsonsupercars.com, he might still have some -8.6cc diamonds (comes with rings, spiralocks, pins) for 3.905 bore left. I got a set for $625 (he was advertising on another forum). I also picked up some Compstar H beams from him for $540 shipped, those come with the stronger arp2000 bolts.

Thanks guys! I understand I can't cheap out on these parts, but I'm only going to be pushing 8psi on the street, which is where this car will be 99% of the time. Might turn it up to 10-11psi at the track and on the dyno. I've seen some guys push 9-10 on a stock bottom end. I'm just making sure nothing breaks since I'm going to be inside the motor anyway. I've heard that the rod bolts (which I'm pretty sure is what is broken now) and the pistons are the weak points.
Do you think it would be better to go with the I-Beams I listed or just stick with stock rods and put on ARP2000s?
