Help With High Idle/ BOV staying open.
I am going back throught the car and fixing all my small issues. One of the issues was it was idling high (above 2k rpms) we figured it was the intake seals so i went back throught and replaced them, now the car still does the same thing. also i noticed while its idling (@ 2k) that the BOV is open.... doesnt make sense to me i dont think it did this before. and alot of air is coming out of the BOV so im assuming the car is boosting, which also doesnt make sense.
Could a leaky injector do this? or maybe the wrong spring in the BOV. but like i said i never noticed the BOV open at idle before....
I have an BBK SSI intake with a pt88 front mount with 80# injectors and an iron 346 with stock 317 heads.
Please help guys

Have you checked ALL lines for vacuum leaks? Wastegate, bov, brake booster, boost gauge, MAP, etc...
The BOV is prolly only open bc you're most likely at less vacuum with a high idle. That's prolly just an affect and not a cause. And it's spewing out air bc the turbo is pushing a little air at that rpm. I wouldn't worry about that part.

If the manifold has a vac leak at idle, it will keep it from going into boost.
This isnt rocket science, something is leaking on your intake manifold. The BOV is just an effect of your jacked up vac situation
