Nate, did you just take the whole radiator and fan assembly right out of the car you hot it from? I can't remember what car? Or is the radiator and fans separate and you combined them? Did you just spray paint them? Great pictures you gave all of us!! Great ideas! Thank you for your help.

The tablet uses a USB cord. The Holley screen uses CAN wiring. The tablet can do everything. Display, tune, whatever. The downside is you need to start it up every key cycle. The Holley just powers up with the key automatically.

Its been very reliable. It has a stock carrier (untouched in 20 years), Superior c clip axles, and a Richmond gear set. Has four brake calipers as axle retention devices...

The radiator is a universal 31x16 Northern dual pass. The fans are Ford Contour iirc. I welded brackets to the radiator for the fans. It is spray painted. VHT Low gloss black is the best aerosol paint ever made.

Thank you. I don't mind turning the tablet on when I start the car.

Ok who is the *** that had to bring up the rear axle....

Went to the track Saturday. Launched on a 1.32 60ft, felt amazing, then bang bang bang.

Thought it was the input shaft but turns out the stock limited slip carrier and spider gears decided their time was up.

Guess my quest for 8's is done for the year. Going to be a long winter.

Too bad it couldn't stay together for just one more pass... at least you weren't the only one that broke something that day.

A spool on the street prob won't fit what Nate does with the car.
There are good strong options for a posi type diff.
Tom's Differentials is a good source.
Sadly, the NHRA doesn't recognize the disc brakes as axle retention devices. Which I think is dumb.

Amazing the stock posi lasted that long!

Sorry...just had to ask!

You put that "stock" 12 bolt through hell for sure, I am surprised it went this long with all that abuse.

Took a trip down to Cordova on Saturday. Got into the 8's with an 8.94. Decided to go to Byron yesterday and ran a 8.82 at 153. Great way to end the season.
