Nice job Nate.
I'll admit that I got most of my inspiration from your car. Laid things out in similar fashion.
Before you went and changed it all.

What did you do for a posi?

Single stage enamel with an eggshell sheen iirc. Has a rubber boot from McMasterCarr.

and what kind of IAT are you getting with that type 22?
Start the run around 50 degrees with adding a small bag of ice to 3/4 full tank of water, ends 1/4 at 100 on 30psi. I dont have any pics as its kind of hard to take any up under there.

Is it the "Low-Pressure Slip-On Expansion Joints with Clamps" part to transition through the firewall?

Just read through your entire thread. Bad *** car for sure...love everything about it.
Seeing the radiator laid down certainly makes me want to try the same thing.
Thanks for sharing all your nice work and congrats on the 8's

That Camaro was bad ***. Did he ever hook it up? We left at 1.

They are Cipher Auto buckets. $250 for the pair shipped and I love them.

The catch can is just the regular round can with two -12's into the side off the valve covers.

A few more pics from the track.

Nice pics. Car sits really low. But works good at the track.

I dont have any pics of the actual surge tank but I can describe it. In this picture you can see where the top radiator hose was moved down and just below it there is a -10 bung. A line goes from that to the bottom of a small tank. Like this one http://www.jegs.com/i/JOES+Racing+Pr...45010/10002/-1

You now fill the radiator from here. It also has a small port near the top that the cyl head steam ports tie into. The port from the bottom of the radiator cap goes to a universal clear washer tank I got from the parts store for $10. The surge tank gets filled close to the top ust like a radiator would. The overflow in the trunk gets checked after every pass. A little water is fine. Half full means you need new head gaskets lol.

Here you can see the overflow in the far left.

Dan, I found a pic of the intercooler etc. You can see the water lines hang just below the edge of the bottom of the dash. The cold side makes a 45 degree transition with the tubing and another with the coupler. It is tight getting the TB in and out but how many times do you really do that. The only thing I need to do yet is put a sheet of fireproof material over the rubber grommet in the firewall. There was just no room to do the typical firewall transition.
