I think the compressor to turbine sizing on these (69/73) is a better match for the power I'm trying to make compared to the old Turbonetics (7268) and the wheel design is some of the latest out there. Quite a bit of size increase in both housings as well. Hope to make around 200 more whp.

Finally, someone getting the SXE369's that we will see some results from! I have seen a lot of talk and posts of people buying them, but no results. After I max out my cast 366's I wanted to upgrade to those as well eventually.
You have had some great info in this thread and it was an amazing build. Thank you for sharing.
You need to change the title of the thread from "The Quest for 7's" to "Been there, done that!"

The block is not filled. A/W working very well. Around 30-40 degrees in iat rise during a max power 1/4 mile pass. Its a Frozen Boost type 22. It has a LilJohn stage 2 tt shelf cam in it now but something a little different will be going in over the winter. That cam did work well though. Its for sale...$200.
The radiator hose is a used Nascar piece purchased from Ebay for $30.

Love the combo....really thought through
Can you give me an idea what the timing curve looks like ?
From peak tq up through 7500+rpm (9# launch to 36#)
I understand all combos will want their own "sweet spot"...just interested in the dynamics of what makes your combo pump out great power and durability.
Thanks for the great build.

I have had the deck surface trued by a machinist buddy and then sanded it smoother with a long board. Not sure the "RA" but its pretty smooth.
New turbos are here! Borg S369 SX-E's. Took them to the bandsaw right away and vbanded the turbine housings. So much easier to work with. Thanks to TurboSource out of Andover MN for the hookup on these.
