Timing? Tuning?
I am trying to learn some things about tuning on my Chevelle. I was wondering what you guys with stock engines with turbos are running for "Hi Octane" timing tables. My car seems to be sluggish off the line and I am wondering if adding some timing to the lower end of the table would help?

I added a couple degrees of timing below 3200rpm and logged a pass through first and second. I lifted as I shifted into third. I'm trying to get the car to make some low end to make up for turbo lag.

What effect did the timing bump have on accelleration? At work and cant open the scan. Take this with a grain of salt, because I am new to tuning. Seems like you could just bump your timing a few degrees at a time until you start to see knock and then back it off a tad.

I bought those a year ago and don't remember the numbers, but cast into the housing it says A/R70. the turbo outlets are 2.5" so I used 2.5" pipe to make the down pipes just until they meet the 3" exhaust I reused from the BBC. There is true duals so each half of the engine see 2.5" exhaust.
