Help with turbo specs
I currently have a 60-1 I know it's too small so I'm not even gonna mount it but I do need help with what turbo I should get .
My setup
370 lq
9.7-10.2;1 comp
317s more than likely
3600 stall 3.42 gear built 60e
C5 z06
I will be making fuel system and cam around turbo power level is whatever it ends up over 650 on relatively low boost
Turbo I'm looking at a little worried about lag and power band
Intake :5 inch
Outlet: 107mm outter diameter, 82.35 inner diameter
Compressor trim: .60 ar (anti- surge)
Compressor Wheel diameter: 74.80 /102.40 (big wheel)
Turbine wheel diameter : 75.35 / 81.70
Exhaust trim: 1.05ar
Turbine flange type: t4 flange ( twin scroll )
Downpipe flange type : 6 bolt type
Cooling type: oil cool only
Horsepower rating: 1000hp+
(wet float bearing)

That turbo will choke on a 370 inch motor.
Pick someone that knows how to cam for the 96mm 1.32 borg warner S475...and re learn how to drive the car.... and itd be fine.
Worrying about lag and stickin a tiny turbo on a bigger inch motor is a mistake.

If it was mine Id go with a Precision 8847 since the turbine has a decently sized wheel and the compressor cover is small.

Borg is good, except fitting it in the front of a C5 would be a nightmare. There is a reason there isnt any decent single kits for them and the ones that do have poor plumbing. Your way farther ahead ditching the ac and ps but it wont be easy.

The stainless housing is a 400 dollar option. I had Bill build me a pair of these with the cast 80mm borg wheels for a 540 I specd out for a guy.. They were right at 1650-1700 each.
If you want one i could try and pull his string again.
