4303 would be plenty safe at that level and a great street pump.

Maybe 2000hp on a low pressure carb system. Nowhere near that on an efi/turbo application

But it will do 1000 ok.

I had the Eliminator on my Camaro, never had a problem with it and it will support 1000 hp. We've used 4303's on cars too and had good results with them too. Bob

Huge claims, but up the pressure and they too fall way short in terms of flow.

1800hp suddenly drops to 1000hp.

im curious at what pressure does it start to fall off?

if the injectors are sized correctly you wouldnt need alot of pressure right?

I looked at some graphs I found ages ago when I was looking at different pumps.

Same as Walbros and most brands, after 60psi flow starts to fall, after 70psi they really take a nose dive.

So a lot will depend what base pressure you start from. If you start at typical LS1 60psi, then there really isnt a lot of headroom before flow has fallen very badly with boost.

If you start at a more typical efi pressure of 45psi, then you have more headroom.

On their own site it says this "1800hp" pump....

http://www.holley.com/data/Products/...R10573rev5.pdf

at 43psi max hp is 1400 and at 60psi max hp is 1200.

At 60psi they say it flows approx 560lph, which is still pretty good, but as you can see a far cry from the initial 1800hp claim.
They dont offer any flowdata over 60psi that I can find. I also see one place say that these can draw a max of 36A. That is HUGE current.
Looks like it's a pair of 340's built into a single housing or something along those lines.

But the pump is definitely a neat solution.

If you want an intank setup with less noise, and better fuel temps lonnies has custom built true 340 duals that I plan on using for 1000rwhp on e85. its a high quality system.

the magnafuel will certainly take care of the job and save a little money.

going with a 4303 setup myself. lonnies is a nice in-tank, but over priced in my opinion. How are you guys sumping your stock plastic tanks? I plan on using a "hellmann" diesel truck sump.

http://www.hellmannperformance.com/p...mann-fuel-sump

and ill probably tap the stock sending unit top and add a -8an fitting for a return.

Dual walbro 255's in the stock bucket. It cost about $200 and is the same thing as Lonnie's setup. It's cheap, reliable and it works. If you have a pump go out then its a $100 to replace it, can't beat that. I hate external pumps, noisy and they overheat easily.

You won't regret it. I've ran mine for 2 hours in the heat with no problems.
