IM RUNNING TR6s AT 16PSI BOOST ON MY 5.3. on e85
I called ngk yesterday and they told me to try the tr7ix iridum plugs, get it all dialed in on the 16psi and then bumping it up to 20 with the 7ix plugs. gapped at .030 right now

Hope you have better luck with the iridiums than I did. Ran 5.62 @ 127.7 with BR7EFs in a 6.0L with a S480 @ 20psi in a Mustang. Was concerned about that power level in the 1/4-mile and NGK recommended the iridiums. Could barely get the engine to run trap 150mph. Engine started, idled and drove better but fell flat at full boost. Put the BR7EFs back in but had to start over since I screwed up my tune with the iridiums. So far, 8.89 @ 154.5 at 17psi.

If anyone wants to try them, I will ship them to you for $25. 20 miles and 4 passes on them.

used BR7EF's intially, but switched to TR6's, E85 on 15 lbs, I like the better idle quality of the TR6's...part throttle seems smoother, no difference in WOT that I can tell

We use projected tip 7-8 heat range plugs for boosted street cars. Keeps the plugs from fouling with the projected tip, but heat range is cold enough to combat pre-ignition and detonation.

I would never run a projected tip on any type of power adder car that is making decent power. I run TR7's gapped at .028. I tried TR8's, but that is where they switch to a non-resistor type spark plug, and they did NOT play nice with my Lingenfelter 2 step.
