Default Want some input before I start hacking up my TA bumper for a FMIC

I am re-doing my intercooler location just because I want to. (Previous setup was horizontal)

I was looking at it today and had an idea to cut a portion of the fog light holes out to follow the contour of the front license plate area. I am going to have to trim the bucket depth of the fog light area anyways to accommodate the more conventional vertical FMIC layout, and I got to thinking "what if"... Well, I decided to work my crappy photoshop magic (MS paint really LOL) just to get an idea of what it would look like. Stole someones pic on here (credit to dcvingv6 for the original pic) and went to town hacking away digitally to decide what I think.. So here is the gist of my idea (original pic on top for comparison):

I'm still on the fence about actually doing it, but what does the LS1tech community think?

I'm not going to be running my foglights anymore anyways, so I don't need those openings to be round at all for any reason.

Try the Burkhart bumper support that retains fog lights that's a cleaner look

I have been contemplating trying to make a cheap air to water heat exchanger type setup so that way you can get away with just using water and no need cut the front bumper whether its a camaro or firebird.

Yes, it will but how about not having to do any cutting to the bumper at all? You could leave the bird in the middle and still have fog lights. No meth kit either. Have one cooling source instead of 2.
