Filling Engine Blocks
Wanted to get some information on filling a LS motor. I did a search but did not come up with any thing. Has any one done this? What did you use pros and cons?

We used to fill Big Mopars and Small and Big Chevys to the bottom of the freeze plugs. I have never thought about it for the LS. My car has an iron block and that seems to be the most common path here up to 1000 HP. I don't think it would be necessary unless you were wanting stupid RPM combinations.
Sorry I wasn't more help.

We fill iron blocks all the time here.
Nothing really out of the ordinary, big power street cars get a half fill to the bottom of the lower water pump holes. Some of them get full fills and 1/2" head studs.

I filled my iron block about 2/3 of the way up the water pump holes.
I would recommend a well thought out cooling system if you plan on driving during the warmer months.
I know if my car were a street car it would need dual fans and most likely a larger radiator with the block filled like it is.
