Default Installing a Speed Inc TU1.5, leave it straight up?

Im on my way to the shop this morning to install my first LS camshaft. My timing chain set allows me to advance or retard in 2 degree increments. Im thinking i should leave it at 0, but ive heard there may be something to be gained with adjusting it.

Setup is a Stock LQ4, 6 speed, s475, pump gas and meth, hoping for 750ish full out.

also, if anyone has some tips on things i may easily over look, much appreciated. Not my first time inside a motor, but it is my first time inside a LS.

Thanks

I had the same question a couple years back about my tu1 cam and called speed inc on it. They said leave it straight up. I'd imagine it's the same for your tu1.5

Install it to whatever the cam card says it is. You're going to find Comp adds advance to most cams. There's a tolerance I believe 2º +/- they will always be advanced side of that spec when it comes to intake centerline.

I would not recommend adding 4 degrees of advance, as stated above. Unless Jim at Speed Inc. told you to do so.
