Default water meth

is there a calculation or rule of thumb for how much water meth that needs to be injected per lb of boost or some other measurement
I am building two twin turbo projects and plan to hit 15lbs or so boost on pump fuel
I have read that a 50/50 mix is best all around but can not find a baseline amount to start

I'm doing my first ls turbo build right now. However I've used meth with turbo builds on other vehicles and alwaya ran a 50/50 mix with good results. I would start there, just watch your air intake Temps on your first runs. The bigger question for me was always how big of nozzles should I run. At the end of the day everyone's setup is slightly different and will yield slightly diff Results

the bigger question is my question - how much to inject - so yes - how big a nozzle or nozzles

No calcs, no rules, there are way too many variables.

Some calcs that may exist...could easily be halved or doubled which makes the original calc pretty pointless in the first place lol

And 50/50 may or may not be best...again too many variables.

And again depending on build etc.... meth certainly isnt essential for only 15psi

seriously - so everyone in this turbo game just bolts something on for water/meth and hopes for the best - very doubtful

h0w many on this forum are running it and what do you run for a nozzle(s)
what is your favorite brand?

No, but they at least have some useful information to hand to make a guess.

At the end of the day, they're all just dumping in whatever they dump in, and then tuning around it. It could be a small amout or large...again there are many variables.

from Devils Own - Most cars should aim for 15% of their total fuel flow. Some more extreme setups run as much as 25% of their total fuel flow.
now the question to research is what size nozzle to use - or should one use multiple nozzles more like a nitrous manifold setup

Pretty much. On any turbo V8 car, I just go straight for the biggest nozzle supplied with the kit. It's usually around 10 got.

Devils own site has a nozzle size calculator on the home page. It's a good place to start if you are running 50/50 and a basic kit with basic goals. Planning on an intercooler?

I just add enough to knock my AFR down .5 then pull fuel to get it back to where it was originally.

Thats how ive always done it to

Just keep in mind that meth is a fuel, so the more meth you run, the more you need to pay attention to distribution.

Not that its not important with 50/50, but it gets a little more serious when your depending on it for fueling.

I never mixed water. Always ran 100% meth cause I needed a crutch for my inadequate fuel system. Just another example of how different people use it. I had a single m15 nozzle and whatever pump comes in the alky control kit turned all the way up.
