Default Magnuson Question

Did a search,sorry if it's been asked...
Doing a low buck GTO build
Have access to a non-intercooled TVS1900 for a C5 vette
I'm aware of the accessory drive depth difference
I'm wondering if i could just make up the difference with some new(custom)pulleys on the blower??
Thanks
Dom

Anything can be done, but it it worth it? Up to you. It's an 1.5 in difference in depth

That one word "custom" means lots more money when you could more than likely just buy the appropriate accessories drive and change it out. If you're not in a rush, search the forums, ebay, etc and get it for a cheaper price. But, we all know that CUSTOM means more money.

Would a longer driveshaft work? Call Magnuson in CA, they could tell you.

I have a great machine shop connection-they have always been overly fair with me if i don't rush them.
In addition they have made serpentine pulleys before.
Once i get my 5.3 on the engine stand i will do some checking/measuring

ive had a bunch of custom pullies made for a whipple on a c5z we have
theyre not very expensive
pulley needed to be about 3/4 of an inch longer than the ford pulley/hub it was setup for

took a few measurements and sent them to a guy that builds custom pulleys, id have to check my email to see what his business name is
think they were around 70 bucks a piece and took a week or so to build
