There are lots of other considerations with 4x4 tho... torsion bars, input shaft for 4L80e conversion, shortened and lengthened driveshafts for 4L80e, and you can only lower so much with a 4WD. There had been times when I wished I was 2WD! But it's definitely neat to 60ft on cheap radials as well as 2wd guys do on slicks. Earlier in the day it was doing 1.65 a couple times. I know I could get this thing into the 1.5x with fresh tires and more seat time/ shock adjustment/ Cal Trac adjustment. It's definitely fun to drive to the track, air the tires down a bit, stiffen the shocks, and run. Before I figured out the suspension, it was frustrating since it would only go 1.8x - 1.9x on the radials.
