T-88 + built 346 Hp #'s??
Im looking into putting a precision T-88 turbo with low compression pistons and a good set of rods in my car and was wondering what kind of power I could make? Im looking for around 1000RWHP. Of course a turbo cam and Air to water intercooler along with all supporting components will be used. So basically with AFR 205cc heads and a T-88 turbo on a 346 can 1000RWHP be done and what CR ratio should I aim for? This is not a DD. Thanks

Prolly want bigger cubes so that power is more easily obtainable and the 88 is pretty big for a 346 i believe, would be much easier/prolly safer with more cubes.

Jose has a similar setup on an LT1 and they have a customer with an LT1 383, pte-88 put over 1000 down @ The wheels...346 will take a while to spool it, but it will work.

Yea Im going to go big cubes one day too but for now I want to do a 346 to save some money. My plan is to get the best of everything for the turbo set-up and a decent 346 so when i have the money I will do a ***** to the wall warhawk motor

with 346 cubes youll need to spin your engine to around 7500rpm to make a real good power band to take full advantage of that turbo.
now with something like a 370 you might only have to spin it to 6800
that being said im only planning to spin my PT88 fed, 347 cubed, hyd roller to 7000rpm's as im not sure about spinning a hydrolic roller past 7k.
im planning later to up my cubes to 370-383 and taking the revs down to 6500-6800
not sure ill make 1000rwhp with my 346, but i hope to when i get a larger engine.
coarse on this stuff i havent done any real world testing yet, just read similar maps (as they dont have maps for the PT88) and estimated on what it will be.

Fixed!
It's hard to say without a compressor map, but I wonder if you'll have surge issues with the PTE88 on a stock cubed motor?...small turbine, small engine, big compressor...hmmm...I guess you'll just have to let us know.
