Default turbo car that smokes, out of ideas ...need some help

the car has been dyno tuned. a/f is 12.5. its leaving alot of black carbon on the back of the car. i have 1 air filter in the oil cap and 1 small filter in the driver side valve cover. the stock PCV has been capped off. the drivers side turbo compressor side & turbine side looks good. there is not any oil in the driver side down pipe at all. i stuck my hand in the LS6 intake and all that was on my hand was just a mist of oil. not much at all. the only other thing i did not check yet is the passenger side turbo but i really dont think thats going to be the problem.

any ideas??

Thats probably from being rich, not oil.

turbo seal going bad?
you should see oil in the charge pipe, or down pipe
shouldn't be fuel with a 12.5 afr (i tune safe with 11.8-12.0 afr)

How much boost?

If you don't have a catch can, I would definitely add one. My car used to burn a lot of oil until that was added.

Is you oil pressure lower than normal?? On my buddies turbo setup he had to put a nitrous fitting into the oil feed line on the turbo because the oil pressure of the car was pushing oil into the turbo. Its worth a shot

Yes, it may be that pressurized oil is making its way thru the turbine seal and out the exhaust. It will not show up on the plugs or in the intake tubes. The oil is the symptom, the problem is why is it crossing the seal (if this is the reason for the soot). If pressure to the turbos is under control it may be a shaft coming out of balance (it will only get worse) or poor workmanship when assembling and balancing the turbos. With certain manufacturers I have experienced this way too often. just brainstorming

im running 12 psi now. i checked both turbos & the compressor side & turbine side are both perfect. there so oil at all on the turbine wheels.

im going to add a catch can and ls6 valley cover and see if that works
