You won't need a SR for 800RWHP

purevil has a 408ci T88 and he has a small hydraulic roller (218ish duration) and he makes 820rwhp @ 14psi on 93 octane. PM him or slowhawk for questions.

When you're running crazy rpms...it helps with valve float or if you're running crazy duration and lift....They're more of a race setup though

Solid roller lets you get more valve lift area as well as more rpm.

I like mine, and I haven't had to touch the valve lash yet and I check it pretty regularly just to be certain.

I cant say for FI setups but i run a solid roller in my old school 406 (306/298 .676/.670) and it has been driven on the street regularly. I cant say anything bad about and dont think ill ever build non roller motor again. As stated before i was having some problems with valve float plus with the SR you can run a MUCH more aggressive cam and it has better driving manners.
