Default Anyone running a G5X3 112 LSA with boost? OPINIONS WANTED.

Just curious to see if anyone has done this with decent results. I know it's not optimal, but just seeing if anyone had any experiences.

I currently have an H/C setup with the G5X3 and the car will be getting an ATI S/C within the next couple months.

I'll change the cam when I do it, but if it will work then I might try it...

What do you all think?
Thanks Steve

run it. it may surprise you. duration makes power regardless of if the engine is na, blown or turbocharged.

Duration is duration... The pro would be that you'd have a stronger power curve, but the con is that the dyno #'s won't hit the same peak.

I dunno if you mean Adam or not, but (FWIW) his LSA was 114 on his grind with his P1.

...but if so, yah, it rocked with that setup.

Yeah, I read about someone with a 114.....and saw those results. The 112 LSA was the part that I'm really curious about. bleeding boost? would I have to run a smaller pulley to get the same amount of psi?

The duration is very similar to a TSP Magicstick. and it's just a lil bigger on each side than the EPP blower cam except that its a 115.

Thanks for all the input and opinions...keep em coming..

I didn't feel like changing my N/A cam when I did my Incon install.

I'm running a Lunati 236/236 112LSA that made 421rwhp cam only N/A

I got it fully street tuned at 6 psi and it breaks traction on street tires even in 4th (still had the 4.11 gears, just swapped to 3.42's with the car down.)

I havn't dyno'd the car yet since the twins, the turbos are actually in transit to a shop to be upgraded to stage IV's. (Future plans)

Here's a soundclip through an open y-pipe the night I got it running...

I'll get some dyno numbers within' two weeks. ~Joshua
