BB is ball bearing, they spin with a lot less friction than journal bearing turbos

P and MPS are wheels, they have different wheel profiles but are approximatly the same inducer and exducer.

So when comparing the P and MPS there is really no difference in power? But obviously with the ball bearings there will be and advantage of more power due to less friction. So a standard P trim is fine.

Different wheel profiles can flow more air, spool up faster, etc. I'm not sure if the difference is enough to change the turbos horse power rating though.

Depending on your budget and target horse power number a P trim will work, if your really serious abotu buying a turbonetics unit call up forcedinductions - they know way more about them than I could ever tell you.

They are pretty good, never heard a problem with them. They have answered all my questions on the phone even though I've never actually purchased a turbo from them and anyone that takes that much time to help the ls1tech community seems like a pretty good shot to me, not like other sponsors who will just order a turbo you want or not understand what you need and sell the wrong turbo to you.

P-trim, is a smaller wheel and will make less power then a MPS turbine will, but it will spool a little quicker as well.
