Anywhere from .30 to .35. If it starts to miss at rpm then tighten the gap a bit. I've never had a problem with it but have seen spark blowout on another turbo car and it sucks.

BTW, don't run platinum plugs, run some NGK TR6's if you can find them, or another copper plug 1 heat range colder than stock.

not to barge in on this, but what about using an irridium plug??
I'll be pushing about 700 to the wheels (under about 14 lbs boost), so i was looking to maybe go a little colder than a TR6, to a TR7... but they only make this in a irridium plug (or so says the book at the auto parts store) ... Or do i not need to go to a plug that cold?

You do need a colder plug but theres a few different ones that people use. Do a search for TR plugs in that range, youll see tons of threads blabbering back and forth about them

If you ask the guys at STS they will say .028 to .030 for a gap. I have mine gapped at .029.
And from what I'm told, you can't gap irridium plugs. And if you can, you can't gap them to the gap needed for forced induction.

I forgot to gap my plugs on my new setup. I was running NA for a while and recently went back to a turbo set-up. My plugs were gapped at .050 for NA, and I was getting major blow out under boost. I gapped them back to .030 and all is fine. I'll be replacing the old plugs with TR6s this weekend.
