Default New Car/New Build Part 3. TC76MPS Dyno numbers inside

Got the car on the dyno yesterday morning. It had 93 octane pump gas and maybe 2 gallons of 110 in it. Timming was 15* degrees, A/F was 11:1, and it had a 10lbs spring in the WG.

Setup for those who haven't followed along:

Iron 370 8.5:1
TU1 cam (225/225 .581/.581 113)
Ported 6.0L heads with 918 springs
LS6 intake and TB

6.0L manifold turbo setup.
Turbonetics TC76MPS
Turbo smart WG and BOV
FMIC
3" DP

TH400
Yank 3000 stall
Moser 9 inch w/3.25 gears

561hp and 564tq. Numbers were made on a DynoJet also.

I am very happy with the numbers on 10lbs through the drivetrain. The logs oh the FAST showed the boost comming on at 2800rpms. It spools super fast once it loads up. The car is a blast to drive. My inj. DC was at 85% with 58lbs of base fuel psi. I dont have the regulator boost refrenced. I am hopping it can make the 14lb springs on the current fuel setup.

I didnt get any video of the pulls. Sorry. I will take the camera to the track with me Tuesday night and try get some of a pass or too down the track.

Thanks. Theres more left in it with a more aggresive tune and a full tank of 110. It is nasty enough on the street now. I am gonna try get some decent times on the BFG 315 DR's Tuesday night at the track. I will take the video camera with me and try get somebody to film the runs.

370, 10psi through a TH400....mid 500's Hope there is more left in it tho. What injectors are you running?

It does spool fast as hell once you lay into the throttle a tad, and i'm on stock cubes

like what? Who knows, we'll have to see what a few other TC76MPS turbos will do on a few other rides to know if they are strong turbos....I do know that it spools damn fast now that my melted cat is removed and the exhaust is free flowing.

We tried to hit the track yesterday but the weather turned to **** on us.

I might hit the dyno this week...but thats a big "might"

When do you dyno?

I am on motron 60lb injectors right now. Base timming is 22* degrees up to 100kpa. Over 100kpa is 15* degrees. I am sneaking up on the tune. I dont want to jump straight in a jack something up. I am doing all the tunning myself too. There is definatley more left in it on the 10lb spring. I would like to see it break 600rwhp personally. It spools fast once the turbo is loaded up. It hits 10lbs quick. Dont worry guys. I am gonna push this turbo to the limits and back. I still have to get the 408ci built and get my 91.5mm turbo bought. When I get done with this setup I plan to go all out with the car.

Oh yeah. I thinks there more in it with the 10lb settings. I put some more timming in the tune and it resonded very well. I just have to get it back to the dyno for some more pulls and tunning.

Nice numbers I just heard back from the shop my car with the same turbo just made 600 rwhp @ only 9 PSI on pure 91 octane cali gas. This is with only 348 cubes and not even pushing it. 16 deg of timing. Not sure of the A/F just as yet. The TC76MPS is no joke.

Yeah the TC76 is a nice turbo and by far the BEST bang for the buck on the market for compact size and power.
