Default Injectors for the STS?

I was just curious if anybody knew what injectors would be best to run with an STS set-up with intercooler and about 5-8 psi. I know everybody seems to be running the 42lbs, but does the type really matter? Should I spend the $450 on the Ford Motorsports, or just go with an e-bay Bosch for about $300? Any inputs? Also, the STS website talks about running a fuel pump booster. Has anybody actually tried running that instead of a larger fuel pump?

Heres what I did and I'm sure many others would recommend this as well. Just get a racetronix kit and 60lb injectors. They sell for $400 from sponsors and ebay. If youre making 550+rwhp then you'll need new rails and a BAP.

42lbs are nice, but if you wanna go to 550+ then you will need 60lbs, pump and BAP

go with the 60's, they'll give you some room to work with. I am running the BAP with a single walbro, i'd say just replace the stock pump so that area will also be covered.

unless you have a great deal of IDLE airflow to take advantage of such a BIG injector stay away from the 60lb injectors.

I'm running 42#ers rated @43.5psi (being run at 60psi) and I have a duty cycle of 65% made 423HP and 431TQ.

going to go to 7psi w/ IC soon

Would I need the pump and BAP with a 5-8psi intercooled set-up, or will the injectors suffice? Or maybe just pump and injectors?

I would just do the pump & injectors. You can add the other stuff later if needed.

Any sponsors sell the BAP on here?

get the Racetronix PnP kit... you will be set and later you could add the BAP if you needed it. i'm going to see what these 42#ers got and i think they will be fine even at 7psi
