Default Opinion, Best HP heads for a LS1 Maggie

Trick flows or AFR, or any other choice?
For running 10-12 psi with a small GT2-3 cam.

dont run a maggie run a boost cam for best results on the hp/tq with how much boost you are putting out so with a set up for boost then you boost it you will get better horse power than a all mixed and match setup o i want to do heads cam but not set up for boost of i want to run n20 pistons and then i will run a d1 procharger man it is going to run like **** do it all boost or all in one set up heads cam n20 is fine but with boost it is different see what i am saying good luck hope everything works out for you

Either one will flow very well for you, or you may want to save a little money and look at some good ported factory castings. We have a few options for heads that you may like, check our site and let me know if I can answer any questions.

Did you ever get the 90MM snout on your blower? It's been awhile since we talked, but I have some parts if you still need them.

never mind, just read your sig. We've had a little success with a little bigger cam, which may help you take advantage of the better airflow when you change heads.

Is this for an MP112 or MP122 sized Magna?

Stock LS2/LS6 heads work fine for maxing out an MP112 sized kit, they will handle 550-600 rwhp no problem. If you have the larger sized Magna, pretty much any ported LS2/LS6/aftermarket head will work. The Magna will run out of boost before those heads max out. I see you already have the 90mm TB, that fixes the main restriction.

Ordered a set of AFR 205's last week from Tony. 66cc and he is sending a set of .040" head gaskets. I calculated that this should give me 10.25:1 compression. And with the cam I have, should give me a DCR of 8.03:1. With the LQ9 heads I have on it now, my DCR is around 7.56:1 with an approx compression ratio of 9.6:1. Which I think it too low for my boost level. So hopefully between the raise in compression, and the better flowing heads, this will help me out, unitl I forge the lower end and spray a dry shot of N20 to cool down the IAT and add a bit more fuel and O2.
