Boost control w/ Eboost 2
I can program the EB2 blindfolded now, but I'm having some setpoint problems. I set the boost pressure to 10 psi, the car hits 10-10.2 quickly, but then drops off to 6.5 or so, and holds there. I've set the sensitivity up and down, gate pressure up and down, still won't get back up to 10lb. Any input would be appreciated.

What set point number are you using to get "10 psi"? If you're using the number "10" that is not psi but is close to the duty cycle opening rate of the solenoid. On my car it takes a "30" to get 15psi and a "58" to get 18psi.

Ahh. Got you. So the spike I'm seeing is having the gate pressure set too high. Then the controller kicks in. I should set to about 45-50% higher to net want I want. Cool. I'll try that. Thanks.

Be sure to sneak up on the number. At 10 % duty you're currently getting wastgate spring control. Try "20" and see what you get, then try "25" , etc as all combos react differently.

Thanks for the help. Yeah, I've got the overboost set at 11.5, just incase. I'll definetly ease my way up. I'm getting tuned next week, but right now I have it rich as hell ( 10.2 afr) and about 10* timing, so its extra safe. Should be putting down some #'s soon.
