Question Your choice for a electronic boost controller

I am trying to select a boost controller, but because there are so many different ones available and they have so many different features it has become a daunting task. What is the choice unit and your reasons why? Any feedback would be appreciated.

For a street car the eboost or eboost2 is plenty.

All out Race is Exile or AMS

Exile MSBC-1 has been great for me. extremely easy to setup and easier to change as you go.

I have narrowed it to the e-boost 2, MSBC-1, or the AMS-1000. Any word on the AMS?

The AMS is really really powerful...but might be overkil depending on your setup / goals.

The Eboost2 works great and is in functional package that allows it to fit in a street car quite well.

AMS is a nice unit. Its costly, but worth it. It's been around for 3-4 years and is used by alot of people.

Exile is powerful and very simple. Eboost2 is not user friendly in my eyes......

Damn, for $700 for the exile, i'de just go with the AMS unit for a few bucks more. A friend of mine just put the MSD boost controller in his '98 cobra that has an S400 in it... only "downside" to the msd unit is you can only control/change settings with a laptop...

$650 at speed inc. $200 more for the AMS? What feature is everyone looking for in these boxes other than change your boost?

IMO, that is the best controller out there. 32 stages of boost and it holds the gate alot steadier. Wolfe did some testing on his car and the AMS would vary boost 3-5psi...on his car, that is ALOT. With the MSD, it held it to .3psi differences.
