Default Turbo seems big enough, just making sure!

I found a Garrett T04B with 70A/R compressor, and H trim (70), and "N" trim turbine, with 84A/R. From my research it seems large enough for 400-450 HP, and 5-6 psi, but i wanted your input before i shell out the BIG bucks! Oh this is a real garrett so i dont need a lecture on ebay turbos!
thank you.

You're not getting it... That turbo will not have room to grow... In fact, 5 psi may be pushing that little turbo to the limit... If you're okay with the ordeal of turbocharging your car for that limit, then go ahead but don't be deluded into thinking this will have "room to grow."

You didn't need a lecture on ebay turbos but you might need one on compressor maps.

Thanks for clearing things up, but how does this turbo compare to the one that comes with the STS kit, i might be wrong, but the compressor map seems close to the 60-1

even the one on that STS kit blows(not literally either) thats usually why people do upgrade the turbo. if your using a 60-1, it should be accompanied with another of the same resulting in a twins set up like NanyDavidSS

Haha! Twins would be nice, but i am not looking for any more than what the sts offers. Thats sorta my bench mark.

theres is alot of welding no doubt that. but if your not scared to sweat a little, do a flipped truck manifold kit. you have to remove the a/c. but you can put a nice sized turbo in there

x2... there's about 3 billion write ups on here and also a sticky... read, read, and read some more... You'll have less ground clearance issues with the manifold setup too...
