Default Recent TT progress shots & tech question!

We did this over the weekend. Now I just have to find the time to finish the rest of it! Thanks to my good friend Jim Norman for all the help!

BTW, anyone know where the pink wire goes?

Just a few more pipes left and we will be ready to finish the welding!
Boost is right around the corner man, hang in there!
It's amazing what you can get done with the proper ratio
of good beer, a little time, and some Monster to keep you rolling!

Dont forget the kanuten flapper valve and the muffler bearing controllers!

Thanks again for the help Jim! Now we need to get to your car!

I think the new formula for work should be Monster+Beer=work!
Of course you can alternate a monster or two in there as needed.

Dont forget garage rule #73 either!

those turned up truck manifolds? I was wondering if that would work or not. I would have turned the turbo to where the down pipe had a inline exit without a bend,. But it sure does look damn good,.

Hey after looking at the pics again is there a reason there faced that way? Looks like they can be inline on the dp. I would think a turn right at the exhust exit it going to effect flow.

DS is a truck and PS is a CTSV manifold. Placing the turbos where the are resulted in the least number of compromises. I think with any turbo build its all about compromises unless you are building a very limited use street car. My car will spend most of it's time on the street and I plan on driving it daily to work weather permitting.

Specs right now are BW S256 extended tip turbos, stock long block, Patriot valve springs, Comp 214/230 .601/.575 117 LSA cam and supporting fuel system.

The trans is at FLT right now which reminds me I need to call Chuck for an
update.
