Default another "Pick my turbo" thread

Looking to boost my LQ4.
GTP stage 2 LS1 heads (I imagine these put my cr to 9.7-10:1)
FAST 78mm intake (will go away for either a bigger fast or a weiand/ls6)
TSP 231/237 cam
Lid
K&N air filter
Jantzer ported Throttle body
Comp OE lifters
hardened pushrods
TSP ported ls6 oil pump
MLS head gaskets
ARP rod bolts
ARP Head studs
Textralia Clutch

PT* style kit will be running IC/meth/pump gas.

most likely around 10-14psi.

Thoughts/suggestions?

i knew I forgot somethin..haha. Id like to do as much as I can with what I have. 600 to the wheels would be sufficient for now, but room to grow would be nice.. I imagine a 76 would be the way to go, but alot of this is new to me.

A TC76 will spool stupid fast and make gobs of power. Easily get you well into the 9's.

Approximately 500-600rpm quicker spool. It doesn't provide any more horsepower, just quicker spool time.

Don't waste your money on BB. With these big cube motors spool up with a 76mm is not an issue. Also nobody makes a ceramic DUAL Ball bearing system. All DBB's use standard steel bearings, only Turbonetics has the ceramic ball bearing at this point and its angular contact single bearing system.

The Turbonectics is realy only half of a ball bearing turbo...............it only has one ball bearing at the cold end of the turbo...................sleeve bearing at the hot end.

Correct that is why I mentioned it as a single ball bearing system.
