Default Twin T-70s

Hey Ive got a 2000 ls1, and am gonna run twin t-70s

I was wondering if you can turn the 5.3 manifolds upward rear facing, instead of downward rear facing and mount a t-4 flange on both manfolds...

Is there enough room to put th turbos beside the engine block and leave the alt where it is?

Thanks!

Pics would be awesome too

maybe on pass side.. Maybe.. Never tried. On drivers side id think abs/power steering might get in the way. Ditch the power steering go with a manual rack, get a abs delete kit from sjm, and start buying some cheap used manifolds, and mock something up.

Keep us updated, different stuff is always interesting.

Well I got the manifolds from my 5.3 truck we put headers on....

Well I would like to keep my power steering its a daily driver.. I was wondering if maybe you can put the turbo up high enough to fit under a 4" cowl hood and clear the powr steering... The AC is not a big deal, I need the ABS....

Im going to start taking pictures as we go along...

i would start with one t-70 for that intercooler and your space constraints and see how far you get.

Agreed, and probably just go one single 76mm or 80mm and that would probably flow the max that IC can support.

Facing the headers like you stated will not wrk. But if 6-8psi is your goal stick with a single 76 turbo.
