Default procharger causing oil leak?

i was looking in to getting a procharger, but some one told me that any type of super charger will cause the front crank bearing to wear out causing a very bad oil leak from the front crank seal. is this true?

Think of all the oem manufacturers that use or have used superchargers. Would they use them if there was even a remote chance that this could happen? Bob

If the belt wasn't aligned up, the only thing that normally happens is a rib wears off the belt, or it throws the belt off. Bob
