Default Procharger Guys!

Does Procharger still have issues keeping the belts on the pulleys?

The Procharger systems normally have excellent wrap. You have to make sure you do not go too tight or too loose and then you should not have problems with belts. I like to suggest over the 10psi range going up to the 8-rib setup.

We are Procharger direct if anyone needs any price quotes give us a shout.

Are you talking about belt slip with the 6 rib/higher boost figures?

The 8 rib system is the way to go to keep from having belt slippage problems, but the six rib kit is still good in the 6 to 7 psi range.

Check out our complete D-1SC price that includes everything you need.

With an LS2 with a 402 I would go with an F-1A if you go the ProCharger route. We have switched our Camaro over to a cog belt and it looks like we have it working for us. One more trip to the track should confirm it for us. Our car picks up more mid range than it did before, so we were getting some belt slippage in the past.

Take a look at this CTS-V that we built using an LS2 and an F-1A. Check out the torque on the dyno sheet. http://www.exoticperformanceplus.com...Car.php?car=29

Might have had some belt slip because of lack of alignment for a few months. The car made great power, just noticed some belt dust. After getting it realigned I've noticed no problems at all. This is an 8-rib SDCE setup making 10 psi. Just goes to show the importance of belt alignment with these procharger systems.

Bob - That CTS-V is freaking wild! I bet that thing is a handful on the street!

I have a SDCE 8 rib with a second tensioner. The only time I've seen belt dust is when pushed the ati tensioner pully down so far the belt was rubbing the stand off nut. here's some pic's...

Yes it is, a mechanic at a Caddy dealership asked the owner to take him for a ride. They got on it doing 60+ on a 2 lane hwy and did several 360's after it broke loose. I doubt that mechanic will be asking for anymore rides... Bob

i have a vette setup in my chevelle, with the 8 rib setup, and i have hit 7k a couple times, never had a belt issue, even saw 16 lbs on the gauge, after the i/c but in the carb hat(i use a carb) i think its normal to see some dust, esp in higher boost
