Dual intank on 3rd gen?
I read the sticky on the dual intake pump set for a 4th gen and is definetly what im going to be doing for my 91. Im sure the 4th gen pump set up is very similar to my 3rd gen but does anyone have any first hand experiance on this. Mainly the thing im wondering about is the fuel level sensor, lonnies site says it needs to be modified? thanks

What Nate is referring to is: I modify the fuel bucket (sender) on 4th gen tanks for the dual pumps, but the level sensor remains unmodified. It will have the incorrect values on a 3rd gen to make the gauge work properly.
If you want a 4th gen (LS1 plastic tank) modified for use in a 3rd gen, I can do a custom plug -n- play setup for you with the correct level sensor.
Please call me for more info as it is a custom setup, made specifically for your needs.

I did the two walbros in the tank. Its a pain in the *** to do because you have to put each pump in individually and assemble it in the tank because the hole in the tank is too small. If I had to do it again I would have probably just went with a good external pump and welded a pickup to the sending unit.

My vote- Go with a plastic tank. I installed mine and is less awkward due to a seperate filler neck. Also it still looks factory. You will have to drill a hole for the filler neck to bolt to. Its easy.
