Check with the vendors who support the forums. They offer direct replacement Racetronix pumps for your application.

So i pulled the pump today, with everything plugged in, but with it outside the tank, i can turn the key on and it does nothing. I can hook the pump upto an external power source and it will spin for about 15 seconds. I replaced the relay and it still does not work. so i am at a lose......

The pump may run but not be able to produce any pressure.

The racetronix kits are just over $200 for your application.
They are your best bet for a plug-n-play system for your vehicle.

I have them in stock if interested.
Feel free to give me a call.

It looks like no power is getting to the pump, there is power coming to the gauge senor thing (I think that is what it is lol) but no power is getting to the pump, but I replaced the relay so now i am trying to find where the wiring goes and trace it and see if it is broken or something. I dont know where the wire is run) If i do end up replacing the pump I will definitely look at getting the Racetronix from you.

well its not the pump....the problem is in the fuse box? I can't get any electricity past the relay, but I can put a new relay in and it still will not get past, but if the use a wire to jump the relay it works. is it a grounding issue?

I have a friend that has a 01 ss with the 6.0 pushing 530 rwhp he told me to just run a wire straight from the alternator, therefore the pump is always giving me full pressure. would this be a good thing to do?

The "wire" from the alternator is a power source. It still must be controlled by the factory wiring w/ an external relay. If your factory wiring is at fault you still need to fix it.
