Default Reflowing injectors?

A shop that worked on my car told me that they reflowed my stock 28lb injectors to 48lbs? Is this even possible? Just curious, don't want to tell them they're wrong but also don't want to get screwed over. If anyone knows any truth to this that'd be great, thanks.

According to this thread:

https://ls1tech.com/forums/fueling-i...-resizing.html

They can be resized to 48lb @ 3 bar without a problem. Our cars run at 4 bar for fuel pressure, so you'd get even more than 48lb/hr.

So yes, yours could have easily been resized to that flow rate...the question is what fuel pressure are they assuming with their rating?

We have been modding ls1 bosch units since 97. Yes you can get 48lb 3bar out of them. Any questions or concerns give a call 770 888 1662.

thats very interesting, so who do i talk to and how much would it cost to get stock ls1's converted into 48lbs injectors? are they just as reliable as when stock? any tunning issues? any pros or cons?
this sounds like a really good thing, i just want to make sure.

The price on their site is $30 per injector, does anyone know if they offer any discount through ls1tech or a military discount?

question on resizing, what can you guys do with injectors that are already at 60lbs? can those be reworked too? i know you guys do cleaning and flower matching on things like that, which i will be sending out soon. I picked up some 60lbs Seimens so i was just wondering abuot that. got them for a good price from another member.

That's great.

One more question. I see on the site it says the modified Bosch Blue Demon is an EV1 style plug, EV6 style injector.

That sounds like it would be perfect for an LS1 trying to fit a FAST LSXR 102 with an LS2 fuel rail. Am I correct to assume that because it'll have the LS2 body but will plug right into the LS1 harness?
