Default 9 inch center section is this a good deal

im looking to buy this and Im just trying to do my research before I do...

i have a complete 2.89 carrier with 3.50 gears, and a 28 spline mini spool. 28 spline support bearing with yoke. need to be set up and i would replace the races on the spool..it has been sitting around for a few years in storage,,,,,,,,i want 100 bucks.

and dose it look like this gear set will work??

you should get some 4.30's instead!

I'm putting together a somewhat budget center right now.

Few things to look out for: Carrier bearing size and what type of pinion suport you have. Those will determine what rebuild kits you need.

Or let you bounce on redline for about 50 feet when going across the line. I've gotten numerous 12.1s doing this w/4.30.

Have fun shifting then, because you can't press in the clutch, shift the gear to 5th and let out of the clutch in that same 50 feet.... 3-4, possibly, 4-5... nope

and that same time you're pressing in on the clutch, you're loosing acceleration... momentum is then your only friend...
