Default Looking for a new rear end

Last night at heartland park i busted the 10 bolt soo im going to be upgrading. I need information on 12 bolts and 9 in. My car has about 400whp may see 200 more in the future. What are the differences between the 2 rear ends. I want it to be quiet. Does either one have an effect on handling. Also trying to decided between a strange and a moser. thanks for your help.

hey i did the same thing. i ordered a 9 inch from mwc. ive heard 12 bolts usually start to get noisy, especially if your m6 and run at the track a lot. also, i was going to spend extra on the richmond gear. but mwc recommended the gear they use thats included in the base package because it doesnt make noise like the richmond does.

I don't think you'll find prices any lower than mine, plus if you wire transfer me the money I drop the price by $100.00. Thanks. Bob

For sure get a 9". It will handle any power you can throw at it.

In my Red Trans Am I had a Midwest Chassis 9" and I HIGHLY reccomend that! The craftsmanship that goes into it is amazing. The price is a bit above a standard Moser but you also are getting a torque arm and transmission crossmember and Eric gives great pricing on a driveshaft and LCAs, Panhard bar ect.

In my Formula Racecar I have a standard Moser. The only reason I kept it instead of swapping in my Midwest is that the Midwest was built for the street with a locker and abs with 31 spline axles and the one in my racecar has a full spool with 40 spline axles and is just better suited for a racecar. Eventually though im pulling the center out of this one and buying a narrowed Midwest housing ad axle package for it.

Cool! When a Moser rear is ordered, it ships out just two days later. Bob

We do offer alternatives to our Fabricated 9 inch and will work to match any ones prices. Remember with our fabricated 9 inch it is built to your specs(tow loops, fill cap, Watt's link, Powder coating, and many other features such as center section choices, not just one brand), it does not force you to buy what someone else is just willing to offer you. Our true fabricated rearend housing features components such as a drain plug, 4 hole relocator style lca brackets, stock style anti-sway bar mounts, brake line clips, hose mounts and e-brake cable brackets(98-02) all as standard equipment at no extra charge.

When you compare the price of any 9" on the market and then compare the price of our fabricated 9 inch that comes with a torque arm and cross member of your choice you realize you are coming out ahead.
