Joe, DO NOT run that u-joint. The one he sends is the WRONG one, and it's a POS. My driveshaft has been bouncing around the entire time the rear has been in the car. I'm trying to find the correct one now...
GrapeApe, the guy I got mine from has a pretty healthy wait right now, there are a couple of board members waiting upwards of 3-6 months....

KP, how do I know which yolk I got? I don't remember...
Grapeape, my pricing isn't the same as everybody else's , but the 8.8's range anywhere from 1700-2100 depending on how many options you go with. However as I stated, there is an INSANE wait on them right now......

I'm running one of the 8.8's. I don't remember which u-joint I have, think it may be a 1330. Are you sure it is the u-joint? I think Craig has sold several of the rears and I haven't heard of anyone getting the wrong one...might have been boxed wrong perhaps?

hey guys this is craig i have had some people in the past wait a long time on rears and i am sorry for that i have had lots of things come up, but have everything going right now! just like anything new finding new parts and getting them on time and such! i have had several deaths in the family and had to go out of state to funerals! i also run a chassis shop, the rears are not my main business just a part of it! i have atleast 25 rears sold to date and have not heard of any of my customers having any probs "vibration issues" like josh is having, i send the same u-joint with all the rears for a stock driveshaft and the 1330 yoke which is stock on the 8.8, if anyone has this same problem please let me know i will do whatever it takes to make it right! and i am not on here to advertise just state my side is all, well thanx and if anyones has a problem please let me know ok! 817-881-9591

I've got an 8.8 and the u-joint supplied does have a lot of "slack"/"play" in it compared to the correct one that Doraville Driveline put in (a spicer, but I don't know the model# of it). I have yet to locate the box or receipt for the proper serial # of it but there is a Significiant difference between the one that was supplied versus the ford to gm conversion one that Doraville driveline put on. If I was not away for training for this entire week I would try harder to locate the receipt or box that they gave with the new u-joint, it's a huge improvement over the supplied one.
I am in no way trying to knock the 8.8", I actually love the rear, put over 110 miles a day on it and have been to track a ton of times and it's solid as a rock! I probably have over 20K miles on it easy since I got it.
