Default 17" ET Streets and 10 Bolt. Help

I just bought my new 17" ET Streets and I'm getting a little worried. I have Nittos now and can dead hook my VIG 3200 and 3.73 gears on the street.

I just bought a new Yank TP4200 and I want to hook it on the street too so I bought the ET Streets. My friend has had his 16 ET Streets on for 4 days and his rearend is clunking and getting tired. Now I'm scared to run this tire. What should I do? Should I return them for ______? Will I be okay on the MTs? When do those new MT DRs come out? Thanks.

Are ET Streets too much for a 10 bolt?

Yes.
Not quite as bad on an A4 as with the M6s but that new converter and the 10 bolt might not mix too well...the new M/T ET drag radials might even be too much for a stock 10 bolt.

Dear John
you can dead hook with a Vig 3200 and nittos?
What psi and from an idle are you mashing the gas?
I was blowing my nittos in smoke with 3.73 at 17 psi after heating them at the strip!! Best 60' was 1.79 but most were spinning 1.9-2.0 with a Vig 3200. I also went to a higher stall as the 3200 was not hitting high/hard enough for me - even with just some bolt ons. I'm just curious how you are geting your nittos to bite. mine are 275/45/17

I'm anxious to hear what people think about these 17" ET Street Radials / ET Streets.

I'm planning on running some on my stock 10 bolt.

Yeah, it's freak man. I have a lot of suspension work done and the car likes to 60'. I just do a 5 second burnout @ about 20 PSI and roll out of it, stall it to about 1,200 and let er rip. It's funny, last week I raced an 02 Z06 and I expected to spin a bit because the temp was about 50 degrees, but I ended up launching so hard that I bit my lip and dead hooked.

The Z06 was pissed I rip him apart in a Slowmaro.

Should I just get another set of Nittos, or will this stall just eat them alive? Thanks.

Most would say the TP4200 will tost drag radials - but - I've seen freak cars like yours hook with them, so do the right thing. Try the Nittos - if they fry get ET or slicks.
What did you do to the suspension man ??

Here we go: Strange single adj up front and dual adj in the rear. Tubular front end. I have Billingsley LCAs, relocation brackets, a BMR TA, Hotchkis PHR, DDSFCS, Spohn Sway bars, and Nittos. Yup, that's about it.
