10 bolt or 12 bolt?
My 2002 camaro z28 is making a howling noise and brought it to a few shops and some of them said its the wheel bearing, and the rest said its the differential. What should I do? Repair the 10 bolt or replace it with a Moser 12 bolt or s60?

I would hope it's the wheel bearing. Haha!
That being said, if it is the differential your best course of action depends on your intended use for the car and your budget.
If it's just a daily driven street car and you have no need to go to the track or run sticky tires on the street, you could simply repair the 10 bolt.
If you intend to track the car, run sticky tires, keep the car for a long time, etc. you'll likely be better off spending the cash now and fix the weak link with a 12-bolt, 9" or Dana 60.

I would have your factory 10 bolt disassembled first before you make your decision on what to do. If it is just an axle bearing that has gone bad it is a pretty easy and affordable fix. If it something more serious then I would start looking at rear ends. I really like the 9" and S60 over the 12 bolt rear ends due to their strength so that is the direction I would go if I was looking for an aftermarket rear end.
