well im a LT1 but when i was stock with 2.73's i went 14.4 at like 97-96.... got 3.73's in and dropped my 1/4 to 13.9 100 took a good half second off my 1/4 and got my 3-4 mph in the quater one of the best mods i did..... this was all when it was auto though, its a 6-speed now and its not stock either .... dont have 3.73s anymore either stripped out the spider gears on my posi and now im selling all the stuff off the old axle thats still in good shape ...... got a new rear with a torson posi and 3.23's we shall see how these do has to still be better than the 2.73s those sucked

what does he have done to the roach? what have you done to your car? if both are stock, you will romp on him no problem.

Didn't run the can bone stock but with only a Lid, Headers and Exhaust it ran 13.2 @ 110 on street tires with a 2.07 60 ft. Check sig for current mods and times.

I did a 13.3 with a lid and catback along with my 2.73's, that same night my buddy did a best of 13.3 as well in his 98 z-28 with same mods and 3.23's, only my trap speed was higher than his. I have no idea what it will do now though.

12.97 @ 106 1.9 60

At the time my car had a lid, borla cat-back & stock tires. I cant tell you enough of how bad these gears suck. I just put in an SS3600 and i still hate the 2.73's just as much. (Im saving for a 9")

Hmmm 2.73s definatly suck, but a friend of mine used to have a bolt on T/A that ran 12.5 @ 108 with a 1.7X 60' car only had bolt-ons and was a 98 with 2.73s not too shabby

My car originally came with 2.73 gears! My best time stock was 13.43 at 104 mph! I should've kept those gears!
