Default I've read you don't need a tune for gears M6 car?

I really want gears for it bad. Talked to the service manager and as long as I don't flash the ecu the rest of the drivetrain will still be covered. Thanks for the help. I did a search and have read every post in this section hopping I wouldn't have to ask.

The speedo will be off. Other than that you don't need a tune for it.

The speedo will be off? Did they change the way the speedo works from all other F-bodies and vette's in 2010?

It's an electronic system. If you change the gear ratio without adjusting the computer the speedo will be off a little giving the wrong MPH reading.

FWIW, I have had 4.33's...3.70's...& now the 4.57 ratios in mine and it needed a recal each time. Good luck with those 4.33's. Mine lasted maybe 200 miles after the break-in.

My guess is that he will be turning about 2200 RPMs at 70 in 6th gear.
