Default Where can I buy a magnetic oil drain plug?

Supposedly my '98 Z28 came with one from the factory, but some where along the line it was replaced with a non-magnetic. I bought one from Autozone and used it for awhile, then the shop said the seal on the plug was misshaped and shouldn't be re-used. Went back to buy another and they said they had been discontinued.

Any ideas?

Should have it at the dealership for less than ten bucks.

I bought one at Advanced Auto a few months ago. I would check other local parts stores, I know that advanced can order them if they dont have it in stock too

They make the small gaskets for the drain plug itself.

I've used those little pill magnets, like off a pickup
pen, as a add-on to the plug tip.

I also like to stick a scavenged speaker magnet to
the bottom of my oil filter. May as well keep the
iron there, if anywhere.

Got mine at advance. On a side note, related to these plugs, how much (if any) metal should these things collect between oil changes?
