Why does everyone hate convertibles?

When did a dude driving a convertible stop being gay?
Whenever I see a convertible, I see A) An old man, B) A chick, or C) A dude who looks like a lady. I'm not old, don't have enough hair to be metro, and sex changes are way expensive...

Dang guys, just poking fun...
The OP asked why people don't like verts. They just don't have that "tough" look that I'd want in a car like these. More cruiser, less bruiser. I guess my attempt to be humorous with a ridiculously-over-the-top explanation failed... My bad.
People are so sensitive these days...

I just sold a 70 cutlass convertible. A lot of the older cars look good in Vert form. My opinion is the 4th gen camaros and firebirds look way better in the coupes than the Verts. But I agree with the others on here all the coupe's look a lot tougher. To me a Vert is a weekend cruiser which is what I bought my Cutlass for. I enjoyed it for that purpose but it always made me wish I would have bought a coupe with a big block.

I loved T-tops when I was younger. It's funny when you see grown men over 35 in T-top cars personally. They look silly to me, like they are trying too hard to be cool. Convertibles aren't my thing as well, but I do enjoy seeing old people in them. They really look like they are having fun in their old age
Just give me a hardtop.

Just hope when you're "old" you're still healthy enough to still be able to enjoy driving; anything!
"Old" is very subjective, my 27yr old son has been called "Old" numerous times by punk teenage kids. So, in someone's eyes you're probably considered "Old" too.
