Default Seafoam in cammed engine?

Hey guys I need some help figuering this out. I have a 2001 5.3 Silverado with a brian tooley stage 2 cam. I bought the truck with all of the engine work already done to it. The guy said that he put the cam, lifters, valve springs, and oil pump when the truck had 200k miles. The truck currently has 213000 miles on it. So yesterday I decided to put a can of seafoam through the pcv valve. Whenever I did this the truck did not turn off, but it did blow a lot of white smoke ( which is normal). The truck does seem to run a little smoother and the throttle response has increased. But the problem I'm having is that the truck doesn't sound the same at idle, it does not lope as much as before. I'm scared that I may have screwed up my engine, has anyone done this? Or what do y'all think happened? Thanks

You're afraid you ruined it by making it run better?

well I can't hear the cam anymore as before, and I kinda miss that. For instance, back then I would put the truck in reverse or drive and it would idle really rough and rock the whole truck around (which I loved). And now it sounds like it has really good exhaust but no cam.

Bad tune or bad state-of-tune adds to "camminess".
Maybe you unspooged something and the motor is
closer to right. If it gripes you, neglect maintenance
for a while and see if it gets worse=better.

Ok so I drove the truck a lot today and I guess I finished burning off all of the seafoam that was still in the engine because it returned to its original sound and i can now hear the cam again. It does sound like it idles better and it also drives better. Thanks for y'alls replies, they did help me calm down a little bit Lol.

That is odd that it would change like that. Did the idle rpm go up? I have heard nothing but good about seafoam.

are you sure you got whatever vacuum line you sucked the seafoam through back on without cracking a vacuum line or anything ? higher idle and running smoother sounds like a vacuum leak is my knee jerk thought....

Pull off a plug wire, that should give you the sound your looking for!

I think seafoam is a gimmick and not safe for an engine.

Seaform has been around since 1942 and work wonderful for cleaning injectors, intakes, and freeing up carbon deposits.

I have never had any issues using it. Hell I put it in all my grass cutting stuff after summer especially now with the ethanol gas. Works great
