Default '93 Z28 stock gears?

I just bought a '93 Z28 to drive as my DD and I'm curious what gears it has in it. The car is completely stock still, so if there was only one option for gears in '93 then this will be a simple answer. If there were a couple options for this car, it is at 3500rpm at about 50mph in 2nd gear if that helps.

Thanks for you help.

Check the SPID sticker.

There should be a code like GU2 or GU5. Do you see either of those?

I don't think 3.08 has been offered on a V8 F-body since the 3rd gen years.

I know in '93 the M6 cars got 3.23s rather than 3.42s. Other than that, I think the '93s are the same ratios as all other 4th gens.

3.23 is the gearing.

I just checked the code and it says GU5. Is that still the 3.23s?

It's kinda funny how slow this one feels after having driven no other fast cars other than my TA. I raced my dad a couple times on the way home from picking it up with him in his '04 CTS.

The first time it was from 50mph and I didn't even know he was going, so he got a full car length on me to begin with, but by the time we got to 65-70 he had stopped pulling away, but then started pulling again for just a second before we let off.

I wanted to go again when I actually knew we were racing, and from a slower speed, so we went from 30mph. We both hit it at the same time and the back end of my car was sliding back and forth a bit (tires are getting clsoe to bald), but I pulled maybe a car length on him by 65. At the very least his front bumper was even with my rear, probably more than that (maybe a car like I said). Those are about 15 second cars so I think that was decent I guess. I should be mid 14's I would guess.

DEFINITELY needs new tires though. And an clean air filter... lol How much effect can that have on power?
