Default Exhaust

So i installed the Pacesetter longtubes and O/R Y on my LS1 Camaro and i've got a borla catback system and it has a good sound don't get me wrong but it just isn't as loud as i wanted it to be. So i was thinking about the SLP Loudmouth 2 to put on it what do you think?

Maybe try ls1sounds.com to hear some setups? I may be wrong but I think the LM2 is kind of quiet, or said to be at least.

I don't think that the volume level will be that much different. You will be needing to go true duals to get a sound level that is both louder and has a quality tone.

I think the TD setup sounds like crap personally.....I would just do the Pacesetters and then a cutout, it sounds nasty, it's cheap and the throttle response is alot snappier with the cutout

True Duals is always a good option, but on the Borla, make sure you don't have any of those adjustable plates where the straight pipe is .. I have sort of the same setup and its pretty loud and raspy.

LM2 does sound good IMO. If you want louder go with a GMMG with your header and Y set up. I think LM1 LM2 and GMMG would be the way to go. TD's are sweet, but you have to make sure you do the proper set up for it to sound good.

go to ls1sounds.com and listen to some of the setups....

for those that dont like TD's you dont really like the true sound of a motor then....i have a sweet thunder TD setup....not bad when just idling or cruising...but when i get on it, sounds like im in a nascar....
