Default How much would my 55K Ls1 be worth?

I am thinking about parting out my car and I would like to know how much I should sell my 55,000 mile LS1 for?

It's from a 1999 Z28

Thanks.

Depends on a lot. Is it complete top to bottom, any mods, what trans? An A4 is worth a lot less that a M6. Anywhere between 2-3.5k depending on the answers above.

for as much as you can get! It won't be much, they are no more than 3k for a long block on ebay w/trans.

You can get a whole freaking fbody for less than 8k these days w/ls1 included why would you pay 4,500+ for just an engine?

Mileage is somewhat important. Yours is relatively low, so I would think if you are in no rush and you can sit on it until you find a buyer, it would fetch around 4-5K for the engine and trans.

Have you all lost your senses? You can get a new forged long block for that money.
Best of luck to getting all you can for the seller.

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/CHEVY...23540789QQrdZ1 You think an ls1 w/55k is worth the same as this?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/01-04...16265345QQrdZ1 He's got a 1999 ls1. Best of luck with the sale I say again!

2k! maybe 2500.

We buy wrecked f-bodies all day long here for 5k. after parting out whats left we end up with around 500-1000 into the motor and trans and in some cases nothing at all. Hell for 4k you can pick up a forged short block.
