Would you trade...
If It ever came down to it, imagin yourself having a nice 2000 corvette, pretty much the only things are two-three rock chips in the front and the 140k miles on the Od. and missed the hell out of your old t/a. Would/could you trade your vette for a semi low mile (40-70k) clean T/a-SS. My 01 t/a had most of all the options and was bone stock for the engine, but I was forced apart when it was totaled by some *** hole...anyway if it became a possibility would you trade a vette for an f-bod?
(vette has some fairly good mods but still makes me miss the t/a)

Yeah, I would if the terms were right. It sounds like you know what you want, so do what feels right dude! You would prob. be better off selling your Vette rather than trading it in tho.

Your only problem is the mileage. I see C5s go on corvetteforums for around $17k-18k with 60-80k miles on them. You are almost double that, so getting an even up trade down to an 01-02 fbody with under 50k is highly doubtful IMO. Unless you were to consider a Z28 or auto tranny.

That was the only problem with the car in the first place, I paid 16k for the car because the car had all the goodies i always wanted but could never afford already on the block, Im really happy with the corvette, never drove a nicer car, but the ta had so much love into, I think I just miss "my" t/a...she was my baby..

I would trade a Vette. I was looking at SSs WS6s and Vettes before I bought the SS I now own. To be honest I wasnt all that impressed with the Corvettes I drove, so I went with the SS. Now, that said, I love Corvettes, and a certain Z06 I drove about got me laid even while test driving it..LOL...But..overall....go with what you want. If you feel like the TA was more you, then get another TA.

140,000 is really not that bad as long as it was takin care of. people need to realize that newer cars last longer now than they did in 1973. but if you really want a T/A nobody but you is stopping you.
